What is Prince 4000
Prince 4000 is an action platformer game. It takes about 40 min to complete and is completely free.
Take down ennemies with insane combos and powerful moves, but keep your head cold as you swing your sword around, in this game, patience and accuracy are the key.
Hard difficulty will offer quite a challenge for the bravest and the most skilled players, you can also compete with your friends with the online leaderboard.
The game roots its influences in old action platformer games (Castlevania, Ghost'n goblin, Prince of Persia ...), but also in versus games and brawler games (Street Fighter, Super Smash Brothers ...) where good timing, patience and accuracy are required. All that revisited with a modern gameplay.

Original soundtrack was composed by ZMINUSONE and Charles Torris.
ZMINUSONE achieved a wide range of compositions for video games, skillfully adapting his style to whatever is needed.
Charles Torris, who is my brother, also known under his artist name "Le Matin", comes from the french electronic indie scene.
I was looking for a synthwave atmosphere for that game, I thought that would adequately serve the idea to make a tribute to all the cheesy science fiction comics I grew up with, and which inspired me for that project.

About me
Hi,
I achieved this video game by myself using Construct 2. It all started with a character run cycle I did for the sake of it, until I thought I would make a game out of it just for fun. As I would learn how to actually make a game I started to shape a more accurate vision of what I could achieve and found it very exciting, so I took it a step further. 4 years later Prince 4000 was born, and its only purpose has always been the journey for me. Having tons of fun making it, and learning the ropes of how to make a video game.
I trully found a passion making this project, and will definitely carry on bringing new exciting video games as much as I can. I actually have a point'n click game in the pipes right now, that I am doing with my brother. Stay tuned to learn more about this.
But all this is very time consuming, and I have to do that beside of my main job which is exhausting. So if you like what I do, please consider supporting my work with donations.
My main job is to be an animator (CG and 2D). I mainly worked for kids TV shows for various broadcasters such as BBC, Cartoon Network or Disney.
